Martina has been part of IWFirstCall for over 6 months. She has been with us from the very own beginning, sharing her knowledge, motivation and expertise with our team. As we are celebrating her 6-month anniversary with us, we are also taking a peek into her life.

  • Who is Martina?
    Martina is probably the loudest or the one always talking or asking questions person in the group whether it’s in a meeting or a personal setting. Always laughing and smiling, mostly positive and helpful to people around me. When I’m not at work, you can find me hanging out with friends, drinking coffee, visiting my family, or riding around Macedonia on my motorcycle on the weekends.
      
  • You have been with IWFirstCall for 6 months now. How did you join the company and how was the experience this far?
    From the moment I heard about the idea behind IWFirstCall, I knew what I can bring to the table, having in mind my experience in help desk/call center industry in the past. Since I’m in the IWFirstCall team from the very beginning, I can see the growth of the company every step of the way. Every new employee, every new project, every new client is something that fells like a win for the company and for the team also. Looking back 6 months ago from this perspective, we’ve built a company where we value every team member as family and every single client as a priority.  
  • What is the most interesting thing about working at IWFirstCall?
    The most interesting thing about working at IWFirstCall is the fact that no day is the same as the previous one. Every day is different and has their own challenges and responsibilities. For me, that’s the part that makes the job dynamic, exciting and fun. 
  • IWFirstCall is known for providing help desk, call center, and NOC (Network Operating Center) services. What are your role and responsibilities?
    We provide technical support on basic software issues 24/7. Here at IWFirstCall we help each other and we work as a team. Our responsibility is to keep it that way, to keep the team’s synergy and to motivate each other’s to achieve bigger goals and successes. As far as my responsibilities are concerned, they involve email monitoring, technical support L1, troubleshooting, and monitoring the performance and health of networks and databases.
  • What was the biggest challenge for you when you joined IWFirstCall?
    The biggest challenge in joining a start-up company is setting goals and trying to achieve them but since everything is a first, the bar is low so you have to set the goals as high as possible even unreachable and try to go above them.
